Membership Categories
TABB is a professional association, and as such, membership is open only to individuals within and affiliated with the business brokerage profession. There are two membership categories in TABB - business brokers and those who provide the business broker profession with products and services, such as bankers, attorneys, CPAs, and others. We call these members affiliates.

Joining As A Business Broker Member
To join this category, you must be an active business broker.

There are two dues categories for business brokers. Annual dues for the first broker from your company are $150. All other brokers joining from your company must pay dues of $75 per year. Both fees are subject to a one-time orientation fee of $100 paid at the time you file your application. Both your annual dues, and your orientation fee must accompany your application to be considered for membership.

To join as a business broker, you must complete an Application For Business Broker Membership and return it to TABB headquarters along with your initial annual dues and orientation fee - a total of $250 if you are the first broker joining from your company - or $175 if there is already a member from your company. You can pay your initial dues and orientation fee by check, or by completing the credit card information at the bottom of the application. If paying by check, mail a copy of your application and your check to TABB Membership, P. O. Box 476, Austin, TX 78767-0476. If paying by credit card, email your application to adman@tabb.org.

Please remember your Application For Business Broker Membership will not be considered unless all information requested is provided. Your membership will be approved upon receipt of a properly completed application and fees.
